Firstly, thank you to Carlo at Richmond Events, for inviting me to be the opening keynote in Interlaken, Switzerland, this year – which is part of our annual series together – to discuss the Future of Leadership in what many are increasingly describing as our VUCA-MAX world where the only thing that’s changing is everything and where uncertainty and ambiguity are increasingly the status quo.
As the world itself faces a crisis of leadership, with many people and politicians believing that we now live in a leaderless world, there has never been a greater need for leadership that acts, inspires, and moves the world forwards.
The Future of Leadership in Uncertain Times, by Leadership Keynote Speaker Matthew Griffin
During this keynote I briefly explore the global system level changes that are taking place and their impact, and then explored the impact that ambiguity and speed are having on leaders mental health and career longevity, as well as on the longevity and value of their companies.
Then, having set the scene I share the mindset and skills that leaders and leadership teams everywhere need to create new value, disrupt incumbents, and build Centennial Companies that have everything they need to see in their first Century of business.
