Firstly, thank you to Formula 1 legend Mark Blundell and the amazing MBP team for inviting me to participate in their first London investor summit where, after a winning touring car racing season, Mark bought together his sponsors and his community to celebrate the win at the famous RAC Club near Piccadilly.
With celebrations in mind the evening was the perfect opportunity to celebrate and pay homage to human ambition and potential, so with that in mind I kicked off the evening by taking the audience on their own journey to explore their own limitless futures where Ambition Power and Opportunity are abundant and within everyone’s reach.
Ambition Power and Opportunity, by Motivational Speaker Matthew Griffin
During the short keynote we explored the importance of ambition and took a look at some of the individuals in the world, like Sam Altman, whose staggering world changing ambitions go far beyond “just” building the first Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) system … Then, next, we explored power and how increasingly sci-fi-like and capable technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) are giving every one of us access to all knowledge and all skills for the cost of a McDonalds meal.
And then, of course, having Ambition and Power means little if you don’t have any opportunity to use them, so to round out the keynote we explored how today, and also in the future, every one of us has unlimited opportunity to improve ourselves and the world, improve our situations and stations in life, to build companies that reach billions of consumers in hours, and why, despite so much worry and hype about the negative aspects of the future it’s anything but dystopian. If, that is, we can navigate it and tap into our own Purpose and the communities to help us achieve individual and collective greatness.
