Firstly, thank you to the organisers of the annual Hong Kong Technology Expo, one of the world’s largest celebrations of new technologies and technology innovations, and Chalice Or and the CEO of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), for inviting me to be the keynote at this year’s expo held at the Hong Kong Convention Center in Victoria Harbour which saw over 400,000 attendees and over 1,000 exhibitors come together under one roof over three days.
During my keynote on the main stage which was titled The Future of Connected Living, in line with the expos theme, I took the audience on a journey. First, we discussed the way in which the world is changing – the technologies and global trends that are shaping our future today and the impact they’re having now and in the future on business, culture, and society at large.

Then we switched topics to explore the myriad of new disruptive business models that these technologies enable, including disrupting the Asian banking and retail sectors with just a smart fridge, the power of visionary leadership, and the future of connected living.
And, finally, I rounded out with a show stopping display of the latest emerging technology developments – all of which, again, disrupt various industry incumbents and entrenched thinking – such as crypto mining cars, tax free Web 3.0 enabled living, the future of health and wellbeing, AI designed cars, clothes, and computer chips, and much more.
