Let’s flip back in time to this TEDX video reel from 2015 Chris Urmson, who up until recently, headed up Google’s driverless car program – one of several efforts to remove humans from the driver’s seat.

In this talk Chris shares fascinating footage that shows how driverless cars see the road and make autonomous decisions about what to do next. Needless to say the complexity of it all might not surprise you but many of the outstanding challenges are being overcome and overcome quickly.
